Apa-s Restaurant
Apa-s Restaurant

The exclusive traditional APA Restaurant is located alongside the Wangchu and offers diners an unforgettable taste of authentic Bhutanese dining. Dishes are prepared in the traditional method on wood fire earthen stoves while local folk singers and traditional dancers serenade diners ensuring not only a gastronomical treat but also a cultural delight.

It is our belief that to enjoy a true quality meal, the service and the ambience must be in harmony with local culture, something that guests can really feel at Apa’s. Designed with authentic Bhutanese art and decorative pieces and combined with the idyllic natural setting, having a meal or just relaxing here at any time of the day is an uplifting experience.

Guests are welcomed with a glass of traditional rice wine known as Ara before taking their seats either indoors or at the outdoor area to enjoy a cultural show.

Apa’s Restaurant can welcome up to 40 guests at any one time and is also the perfect venue for a private reception or small celebration.

Of course all outdoor shows and events are subject to change according to the weather but our Bhutanese cuisine is available throughout the year.

Angay's Restaurant

Aie Restaurant offers a delightful mix of international cuisine in a traditional setting with sweeping views over the Wangchu to distant mountains.

Sometimes when we travel it is nice to enjoy familiar tastes and at Aie, guests may enjoy a selection of Indian, Chinese, Thai and European favourites prepared by our skilled culinary team.

Menus change seasonally and reflect the fresh produce available in the resorts organic herb garden.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and guests will enjoy dining in a casual atmosphere filled with the excited chatter of guests as they prepare for their day or reflect on their experiences in the evening.

An international wine list is available to complete your meal and to help savour a special sunset.
